We had a flurry of activity the last week before we left. Finishing jobs, selling our business, visiting friends, renovating our trailer and truck, giving a women's health teaching, two farewell parties, packing, cleaning, errands, details, and then Chadd noticed leaking coolant while he was under the truck on Wednesday evening-- with departure scheduled for 5 am Friday. After much discussion and failed attempts to quick fix Chadd called the dealership and they were able to order the part in and expidite the repair. But it did set us back almost 9 hrs. Both Chadd's and my parents and his sisters family were immensely helpful in more ways than we are even aware to bless us and help us get ready to depart. THANK YOU ALL for all the labor, time, and money that you spent for us!!
Our truck and trailer rig was finally on the road at 2:30pm Friday. We stopped in Pittsburgh to see Chadd's good long time friend Justin. But his beloved wife Elya was working. :( So.. It is now 1:30am and we have 1.5 hrs till our second stop in Goshen IN where most of my Mom's side of my wonderful family resides. Looking forward to sleeping in (hopefully!) and a pizza party at 4!
